The Meat Suit

 

The meat suit is a trickster

much like the Wizard's show.

Few people, if any, know what's behind the curtain

or there's a curtain

a persona.

 

Few people

if any

truly know what it's like to be out there

beyond where the words can walk

what we are

what we wear

once the meat suit is ripped away.

 

Many a pope and poet have laid words

many a sham and shaman have told us what to expect.

 

I take a wait and see attitude.

 

But, I do know this:
